We are searching for a Shipping Administrator for our Jefferson City, MO location. This position will report to the DC Supervisor. Want to build a career in Warehousing? American Plastics is a leading supplier of injection molded products with multiple facilities in 4 states. • Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms. • Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment. • Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters. • Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions. • Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically. • Communicate and direct drivers to correct pick up location. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, primarily Excel Expectations: • Adhere to all safety procedures & help promote a clean work environment. • Work the schedule assigned (including overtime) and maintain good attendance. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
