Key Responsibilities: • Support waste management (Collection of biowaste, chemical waste and sharps containers). • Maintain the consumables list, order lab consumables, organization and labeling of lab consumables. • Daily management of essential gasses (tracking gas levels) and working with the vendor in the ordering and replacement of new tanks. • Tracking, shipping and receiving of mail and packages. • Glasswash/autoclaving of glassware. • General lab and office maintenance. • Light facilities maintenance tasks. • Emergency 24/7 alarm response. • General cleaning and sanitization of the facility. • Ordering, stocking, and organization of lab consumables. • Conference room and workstation set up. • Monthly testing of critical emergency equipment such as eyewash/shower. • Any other activities and tasks reasonably requested by the company Requirements Required Qualifications: • AS/BS in relevant fields and 0-2 years of job experience in the fast-paced biotech industry. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Ability to lift and move materials up to ~50 lbs. and operate transport equipment safely. • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. • Ability to collaborate with scientists and management, which can be described as a “team player” approach. Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with lab safety procedures and hazardous materials handling. • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., biotech, pharma, research labs). • Strong communication and organizational skills.
