Because of our dedicated, bright, and talented Team Members, we are THE local leader for healthy, natural pet nutrition. Tomlinson’s Delivery Associates earn a starting hourly rate of $15 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement of 76 cents per mile driven. With mileage reimbursement, our average Delivery Associate earns between $20 - $25/hour. Tomlinson’s Delivery Associates are W-2 positions, not contract gigs. That means drivers working 40 hours or more per week are entitled to (and deserve!) health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and an employer-matched 401(k). Here's what you'll do on a typical day.... • Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a timely manner. • Review orders before delivery to ensure they are complete and accurate. • Load and unload items into vehicle in a safe and appropriate manner so that product will not be damaged during the delivery process. • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handle complaints from clients. • Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules. • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record. • Work with dispatching team to resolve problems including order accuracy, and customer communication if needed (wrong address, gate code, etc.). • Complete training courses to build product knowledge and stay up to date on new promos, products, and procedures. • Assist in-store between delivery runs. Requirements Delivery experience is a plus, but not required. However, a positive attitude and eagerness to help others is required. Tomlinson’s delivery drivers must be at least 18 years of age and have: • A clean driving record • Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery • Up to date car registration • A smartphone with the ability to use our delivery app to navigate • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds: You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in order to pick and deliver orders
