Position Overview: As a host/hostess, you will play a crucial role in starting our guests amazing dining experience off on the right foot. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Host plays a vital role in setting the tone for the overall dining experience. Responsible for providing a warm, welcoming, and organized entry point, the Host ensures a smooth and efficient flow of guests throughout the restaurant. Responsibilities (but not limited to): • Welcome guests with a warm smile. • Manage waitlist and reservations efficiently. • Answer incoming calls from guests and assist with general inquiries, reservations, takeout orders as needed. • Assist with guest requests or accommodations such as seating preferences, highchairs, or any additional special requests. • Support takeout/pick up orders as needed. • Monitor cleanliness and presentation of host stand, entrances, menus, and guest areas throughout shift. • Utilize technology such as SevenRooms to seat guests. • Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment by communicating effectively and supporting team members. Requirements • Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant; minimum 2 years in a host/hostess role. • Experience working with SevenRooms. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
