Description Position Summary The Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes in a safe driving manner, checking in orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. Duties and Responsibilities · Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses on assigned route in a safe, timely manner · Complete any needed deliveries/pickups outside of typically assigned routes · Contact Logistics Manager or Receiving Warehouse Manager when pickups are made so Cleveland can be notified · Contact Logistics Manager or sales associate when there are any issues with deliveries · Report to work at the scheduled time and in the Euro USA uniform and any navigation devices · Check in orders to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied · Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles · Accept payments on occasion · Provide excellent customer service · Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules · Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record including E-logs when required · Maintain cleanliness of truck cab and refrigerated box · Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries · Obtain customer signature acknowledging delivery and note on the invoice any product not on truck, damaged or refused · Check in at end of shift with QC (Quality Control) Manager regarding returned product and pallets · Perform loader/wrapper duties, as needed o Wrap pallets of items pulled and staged. o Maintain an organized dock area to ensure proper loading and safety.
