Advance your education and career with our tuition assistance program Summary The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for assisting the procurement department in procuring goods and services needed for company operations. This role involves preparing purchase orders, maintaining purchasing records, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of products while adhering to company policies and budget guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) based on requisitions from various departments • Research and evaluate PO’s and supplier communications to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery • Maintain accurate purchasing records, including invoices, purchase agreements, and supplier contracts.
