About the Role Champions Club is looking for Servers to join our growing team! As a member of our Food & Beverage team, you’ll work as a Server who can also support bartenders as needed. You'll be responsible for taking orders, answering questions about the menu and food, upselling food and drinks, taking payment, and supporting guest service with our best-in-class Champions Club hospitality. **This is a part-time position, working approximately 20-30 hours per week. We’re looking for folks who can work morning and/or evening shifts.** Essential Duties • Set up tables/service carts before service with appropriate utensils and napkins • Greet guests, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and ensure an exceptional guest experience • Knowledge of the menu and recommend appetizers, meals, desserts and beverages • Deliver food orders to guests quickly and accurately • Accurately process guest transactions, manage tips, and make change • Ensure patrons have all of the appropriate tableware they need to enjoy their meal • Keep water/coffee stations clean and fully stocked • Uphold sanitation and food safety principles • Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all other guest service guidelines • Bus tables/service carts by removing dirty dishes and trash Responsibilities • Ability to make drinks in a pinch/willingness to step behind bar and help if needed • Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff Experience & Skills • Must be 18 years or older • Food Handler’s Certification • TABC Certification • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and late nights • Ability to adhere to all company policies and the code of conduct Qualities & Preferences • Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, private club, and/or casino preferred • Ability to address issues in a professional manner through effective interpersonal communication • Exemplary time and resource management including good attendance/punctuation • Ability to maintain top-level performance during high stress situations This starting pay for this role is $10.00/hr + Tips Champions Club is a proud equal opportunity employer and all employees and qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by law.
