Description • Completes pre-op paperwork • Ordering supplies/stocking rooms • New patient referrals (scheduling, obtaining missing records, contacting new patients with appointment date/time) • Scheduling • Prepping records/patients charts for clinic • Cleaning of instruments • Tumor Board (sending records, arranging for slides and radiology disks to be sent) • Chaperoning during exams • Lab ordering Requirements • CMA certification preferred • One year medical office experience • Basic computer knowledge • Knowledge of medical terminology • Ability to effectively multi-task • Ability to comply with HIPAA and OSHA policies
