What We’re Looking For: • Experience: At least two years of caregiving experience and a valid CNA in the state of Indiana. • Compassion: A genuine love for spending time with seniors and making them smile. • Skills: Ability to assist with personal care, daily living activities, companionship, and engagement. Your Responsibilities Will Include: • Encourage the resident to be active and participate in daily living activities • Helping with Activities of Daily Living • Attend staff training as required • Dependable transportation • Ability to deal tactfully, show patience, maintain a cheerful disposition, show enthusiasm with residents, family members, visitors, outside agencies, and other employees, and demonstrate a willingness to handle difficult individuals, situations, etc. • Must maintain a neat appearance and follow Story Cottage Living’s dress code • Uphold daily the Story Cottage brand standards - WE FLOURISH WE FLOURISH - Brand Standards • Welcome All • Engage Residents • First looks – Bed & Bath • Lights on, Blinds Open • Off phones • Uniform on – Polo & Nametag • Residents Out of Room & Neatly Groomed • Inviting Smell • Songs on • Have fun!
