Description Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Type: Full time Shift Schedule: M - F 7a - 4p to start, then 4-10’s Tu – F or M – Thursday TBD Salary: $25 -$28/hour ** Pre-employment background check and drug screen required. Industrial Maintenance Technician Equipment Diagnosis and Repair • Diagnose issues with malfunctioning mechanical/electrical equipment and complete required repairs • Perform minor building plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as needed • Execute preventive maintenance procedures and assist maintenance lead/manager in outage planning • Other accountabilities as required Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Requirements • High School diploma or GED required with vocational training highly preferred • One to five years mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial work setting. • Pneumatic & basic hydraulic knowledge preferred • Ability to immediately understand and react to verbal safety commands, audio alarms, and written hazard alerts in English in a Manufacturing setting. • Proficient in English to accurately read, interpret, and execute equipment lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols and machine operation manuals. • Sufficient English verbal skills to clearly and instantly report machine malfunctions, near-misses, or unsafe floor conditions to supervisors and team members. • This role operates in the immediate vicinity of fast-moving, heavy automated equipment.
