Role Scope • Lead the facilities telemetry platform: the pipeline taking every sensor, meter, and controller across the fleet into one queryable system. • Own the architecture: ingestion, time-series storage, and APIs that operations, ML, and controls teams build on. • Set the data standards: naming, units, and quality enforced at the edge so gigawatts of telemetry stay usable. • Lead a small team while carrying the hardest technical pieces yourself. What We're Looking For • The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would. • You've built or led time-series or telemetry platforms at industrial or fleet scale. • You've designed ingestion that survived messy field protocols: BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA. • You've set data standards that stuck across teams and sites. • Your platforms have SLAs and the operational maturity to hit them. • You lead from the front of the codebase. • Bonus: Timescale, Influx, or ClickHouse.
