Description Make a Difference Where It Matters Most At Maine Veterans' Homes, our mission is simple: Caring for Those Who Served. We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Augusta team as a full-time overnight Charge Nurse (LPN). This position works three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) each week, providing nursing coverage on Eagles Landing, our Long-term Care Village or Liberty Island, our Transitional Care (Skilled) Village. What You'll Do as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) • Provide direct nursing care to our veteran residents. • Float between units based on staffing and resident care needs. • Assess residents and communicate changes in condition. • Administer medications and treatments. • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members. • Document care accurately and timely. • Support a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment.
