Homebound has raised $150M in capital from leading venture capitalists like Google, Khosla, Thrive Ventures, and we’re scaling quickly in places like Texas, Colorado and Florida. Come build your future with us. About The Role: This role combines two distinct functions. Half the position is outbound sales development: identifying and engaging prospective homebuyers through telephone calls, email, and LinkedIn prospecting and setting qualified meetings for Account Executives. The other half is model home coverage, representing Homebound in person when the primary sales representative is off site. Success in this role requires genuine fluency in the homebuilding process. You will be expected to speak knowledgeably about floor plans, personalization options, and the building timeline, and to use judgment about when a prospect is ready for an Account Executive conversation. This is not a role built around volume alone. It requires the ability to hold a substantive conversation and represent the brand credibly in person. This is an in person position based out of a model home sales office in the DFW area, Monday through Friday. What You'll Do: Sales Development: • Identify and engage prospective buyers through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives and ensure a clean handoff • Qualify inbound leads generated from marketing campaigns, demo requests, calls, and emails • Communicate Homebound's value proposition clearly and credibly to prospects • Build and maintain an organized, accurate prospect pipeline • Maintain complete and current records in Salesforce • Report regularly to sales leadership on outreach activity, connected calls, and meetings scheduled Model Home Coverage: • Provide coverage at the model home when the primary sales representative is unavailable • Greet and engage prospective buyers, providing tours and answering questions on floor plans and personalization options • Capture visitor information and qualify leads according to Homebound's criteria • Maintain model home presentation standards at all times • Coordinate with the marketing team on model home events and open houses What You'll Bring To The Table: • 1 to 2 years of experience in a sales related role • Demonstrated experience in outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn based prospecting • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust quickly • A consistent track record of personal accountability and follow through • Resilience and sound judgment when navigating new or unexpected challenges • The ability to receive feedback constructively and adjust approach accordingly • Bachelor's degree Desired Experience: • Background in homebuilding, real estate, or construction sales • Experience in a client facing sales environment such as a model home, showroom, or dealership Our Commitment: We are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
