Zuern Building Products & Design Center is currently looking for the right person to join our Material Handling team at our Madison location. Must be available Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays from 8am-12pm. This role offers the right candidate the potential to develop new skills with career advancement opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. • Loading of materials to be delivered. • Load customer orders that are processed from inside sales counter. • Stock and maintain product in bins. • Put away stock and special order returns. • Organize, stock and maintain other storage sheds. • Basic housekeeping. ie: sweep aisles, straighten piles, pick up scraps. • Care of product against damage. • Attention to safety procedures at all times. • Driving or delivery when needed. • Attention to detail and accuracy in loading the correct product. • Lock up yard at the end of each day. • Other duties upon request by a manager/owner. Requirements Qualifications: • Fork lift certification required • Excellent customer service skills. • Ability to lift and carry 25 to over 100 pounds on a consistent basis. Possible weight of 125 pounds and over at times. • Alert, focused and detail-oriented. • Physically and mentally fit • Self starter who works well independently as well as the ability to work well with others when needed • Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
