Description Central Hospitality is responsible for keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition; performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, removing rubbish; and prepping for events and Small Group gatherings. Requirements • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them • Gather and empty trash • Service, clean and supply restrooms • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures • Clean windows, partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees • Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures • Keep clean and organize all supplies in janitorial closets • Coordinate with first shift Hospitality worker as it pertains to maintaining all stock of janitorial supplies as well as proper working of all equipment • Inform Facilities Manager of any building-related repairs that need to be performed • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created • Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks • Set up, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders and scaffolding to prepare facilities for worship experiences and Small Group meetings • Provide plus one customer service while hosting Small Groups as scheduled while maximizing time to complete cleaning responsibilities • If working at Cliffdale Site, carry and answer the Hospitality phone • Show flexibility regarding filing in for other shifts across all Fayetteville/Ft. Liberty sites as needed
