Massanutten Resort Job Summary A Dishwasher is responsible for providing guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plates, glassware and kitchen equipment. Duties include ensuring overall cleanliness of kitchen and assisting with prep and general kitchen work while upholding safety and sanitation policies. Must be at least 16 years of age and able to lift at least 25 pounds and an ideal candidate is willing to learn more about kitchen and food prep. Required Ability to maintain safe food practices including hand washing and use of safety equipment Good communication skills Preferred Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience Typical Schedule Days: Varies, including morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays Hours: Varies, including evenings Core Responsibilities • Ensure dishes are cleaned and sanitized and available as needed • Wash plates, glassware, silverware, pots/pans and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures • Keep dish area clean by sweeping, mopping floors, wiping countertops, and emptying trash • Complete all assigned prep work • Set up dish machine in the AM and close down machine in the PM according to company procedures • Other duties as assigned by management For more information, please contact please contact us at 540-437-3372 or [email protected].
