Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities: • Assists members and their guests in styling, selection, and recommendation of merchandise • Assists with displaying and maintenance of retail shop merchandise • Assists as needed with weekly/monthly retail display changes and par stock levels • Creates tee times as needed following club rules and policies • Maintains up-to-date information as needed to provide to golfers as they check in • Answers shop telephone, assists with checking in golfers and collecting fees as appropriate • Uses POS system, maintains register area and wraps retail items as needed • Assists Golf Professionals in everyday duties • Retail Sales Associate Qualifications: • Retail experience preferred • Computer experience preferred • Golf knowledge preferred, not required Retail Sales Associate Critical Skills: • Customer Service • Excellent communication and public relations skills required • Must be able to meet public in a friendly, courteous manner Physical Requirements: • Must be able to stand for long periods of time • Flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds •
