Role Summary Under the supervision of the Finance Director, an Accounting Specialist is responsible for the accounts payable and accounts receivable process: entering and researching invoices; accepting and applying payments from tenants and voucher clients and keeping the cash ledgers up-to-date. Education, Training and Experience (position requirements at entry) Required: • Associate’s Degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or a related field • The City of Ann Arbor, at its discretion, may consider an alternative combination of formal education and work experience.
