The Extended Day Care Director for Archbishop Borders Catholic School, located in Baltimore City, should have management experience and experience working with young children. In addition, he/she would be responsible for the direct supervision of students within the program as well as the staff. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Essential Functions • Supervise the daily operations of the Extended Care Program. • Supervise aides in planning appropriate social, physical, and creative activities for the students. • Provide a safe and clean environment for the students. • Record daily student attendance. • Record daily payments and post to the accounts receivable system. • Work with the Business Office on monthly billing. • Communicate daily with Extended Care Program parents regarding concerns or issues, schedule changes, and general administrative matters. • Supervision of day care staff members. • Communicate all significant concerns and issues to the school administration. • Comply with all regulations of the State Letter of Compliance. • Complete all paperwork required to update and maintain the State Letter of Compliance. Position Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field preferred. • MSDE childcare credentialing or willingness to obtain. • First Aid and CPR certified. • Excellent references.
