Requirements: • Mix traditional and creative cocktails • Process payment from customers • Clean glasses and bar utensils • Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences • Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits • Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift • Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations • Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails • Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings • Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness • Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness • Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol • Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time • Most be able to work the evenings and weekends How to Succeed: • “Wow” guests by anticipating their needs and going the extra mile • Take pride in setting up and executing events flawlessly • Collaborate with fellow team members and other hotel departments to promote a positive work environment • Follow instructions quickly and carefully • Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance • Help ensure adherence to all policies and procedures • Be willing to accept constructive feedback and use it as a tool for growth • Always aim for exceptional guest service and satisfaction • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (5 hours or more per day)
