The ideal candidate will prepare high-quality dishes according to established recipes, maintain food safety standards, and contribute to a positive kitchen environment. This position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience through consistent food quality and presentation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Prepare and cook Italian menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards. • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service. • Ensure food is prepared, plated, and garnished consistently and accurately. • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. • Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas. • Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing inventory using FIFO procedures. • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management during service. • Report equipment issues, inventory shortages, or safety concerns promptly. • Support team members with prep work, cleaning, and closing duties as needed.
