Pallet Dismantler Location: Dover, PA Pay: $11.00/hr starting out and a weekly attendance bonus. Job description: Primary Responsibilities: • Pallet Dismantling: • Operate the pallet dismantling machine, ensuring safe and efficient dismantling of inbound pallets. • As the pusher, push pallets through the machine; as the puller, pull dismantled pallets through the machine. • Change broken or loose blades to ensure continuous operation. • Unjam pallets or boards stuck in the machine, maintaining minimal downtime. • Quality Control & Prep: • Ensure pallets are free of debris before dismantling. • Dismantle pallets in a manner that minimizes damage and cut marks to the materials. • Properly prepare dismantled parts by removing protruding nails, screws, and other materials that could affect further processing. • Send quality recycled parts to the lumber sorter for further processing.
