• Direct daily operations of Facility Operations department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting and meeting deadlines. • Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions. • Assign and review the work of all Facility Operations employees. • Manage weekly meetings, monthly staff meetings, and bi-monthly 1-on-1 meetings with staff. • Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. • Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess needs and requirements related to construction and facility operations • Manage and assist in developing the operational budget and capital expenditures for the department. • Guide the technical and operational requirements related to JCAHO standards for facility management. • Lead and manage JCAHO Accreditation process in the areas of responsibility. • Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures. • Evaluate and recommend facility improvements and upgrades.
