Responsibilities: • This is a hands-on position • Maintains and services a building or plant's mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution systems, and HVAC systems. • Performs preventative-predictive maintenance and routine repairs to systems and equipment. • Conducts periodic safety and maintenance inspections to evaluate equipment for replacement and identify wear and damage. • Uses technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment, engines, and compressors. • Orders parts needed for replacement and coordinates with service providers to complete maintenance tasks. • Uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or work order system to track and document activities. • Helping respond to emergency maintenance requests • Follow directions from the Maintenance Manager on minor repairs • Effectively and safely operate standard maintenance tools including power tools, hand tools and testing equipment • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition • Follow safety rules and regulations as well as other departmental policies and procedures.
