The candidate for this position will be responsible for: • New business development in commercial banking to ensure that company growth and profitability objectives are met • Developing new commercial banking relationships for the bank and, when appropriate, service existing commercial business depository and/or loan relationships to identify additional sales opportunities • Ensuring timely and accurate assessment of risks, while also ensuring that credit relationships are risk-rated appropriately • Meeting compliance and regulatory standards for all bank products and commercial services Requirements for the position include: • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong computer skills • Working knowledge of risk-based lending and should be able to analyze financial statements • The ability to work late and/or flexible hours Preferred qualifications for this position include: • A minimum of five years of experience in Commercial Lending practices preferred EEO/Veterans/Disabled
