RN Supervisor Weekend Warrior Rate: $40-$44/hour (depending on experience) Sign-on bonus: Up to $3,750 SHIFT: Part-Time Schedule: Weekends, work 32 hours and get paid for 37.5!! Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking to add an RN Supervisor Weekend Warrior to its nursing leadership team. In this role, you'll oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift, ensuring residents receive high-quality care while supporting staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe and positive environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supervise nursing staff, including team leaders, nursing assistants, and trainees during assigned shifts • Ensure resident care plans are implemented, updated, and followed appropriately • Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition, ensuring timely communication with providers and families • Oversee medication administration, treatments, documentation, and nursing services • Address resident, family, visitor, and staff concerns while promoting a positive care experience • Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling adjustments, and overtime authorization as needed • Support staff education, orientation, coaching, and performance management activities • Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, resident rights, and regulatory requirements • Respond to emergencies, safety concerns, incidents, and facility operational issues • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives • Perform additional duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred • Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a geriatric or rehabilitation setting; 3+ years preferred • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities • Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control practices, and resident rights • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment BENEFITS: • Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-Time • Weekly or Same-Day Pay Options • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Life Insurance • Employee Referral Bonus Program • Retirement Saving Options
