How You’ll Drive Our Mission Forward • Accurately document vital signs, medications, allergies, and patient concerns to support quality care and risk management. • Support physicians during patient visits and follow through on orders including tests, injections, and patient instructions. • Collaborate with departments through EMR communications to ensure smooth patient flow. • Assist with Coumadin clinics, blood draws, pacemaker/defibrillator checks, and diagnostic procedure explanations. • Manage medical forms, insurance pre-certifications, supply ordering, and mandated safety checks. • Provide cross-coverage and support to other clinics or departments as needed. What Makes You a Great Match • High school diploma and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Louisiana. • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS certification is a plus. • Skilled in clinical documentation, EMR systems, and patient communication. • Experienced in triage, blood draws, injections, and assisting in diagnostic testing. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and maintain compliance with clinical protocols. • Willingness to adapt, support team needs, and align with the mission and patient-centered philosophy of CIS.
