Summary Works with staff and volunteers to create age-appropriate environments and materials for Elementary aged children to discover God, His Story and their place in it, with a focus on grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade at the Blankenbaker campus. Oversees volunteers and looks for opportunities to equip parents to become the primary disciple-makers in their homes. What You Will Be Doing: • Recruits, processes, trains, and shepherds volunteer leaders to minister to children and families; coordinates the onboarding and scheduling of volunteers. • Writes and edits curriculum for small group environments in ways that engage children. • Assists with setup and prep for weekend services. • Checks in volunteers and children on the weekends; solves problems and helps the team, as needed. • Assists in planning and executing events for children and volunteers. • Responds to daily emails and phone calls from volunteers, parents, and others. • Performs administrative tasks, as needed.
