Job Summary The Radiology Receptionist performs clerical duties that support the operations of the Imaging department. Job Responsibilities • Check-in patients for appointment(s). • Perform clerical duties such as copying, faxing, CD imaging. • May perform office procedures such as checking referral status, imaging scheduling, and/or coordinate other scheduling activities with patient. • Utilize hospital/department communication: telephone, interface messaging • Answer incoming calls from patients, medical offices, health care facilities, and others. • Request images from outside facilities to be sent or send images to them as requested. • Other duties as assigned. Education Requirements • Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent • Preferred: Business school certificate or equivalent experience Experience Preferred • Medical Terminology Training License/Certification Requirements • None
