Kendal at Hanover is seeking a full-time experienced General Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team! Primary roles and responsibilities include: • Performing project assignments and renovations. • Performing work requests to building interiors/ exteriors such as woodwork, furnishings, finishes, hardware, and maintaining grounds. • Supporting the operational needs of the facility as needed. • Responding to emergencies and other urgent needs for general services such as heating, lighting, water, and sewage. • Proactively planning material requests necessary to complete work orders. • Collaborating with department purchaser to identify necessary stock items. Required Education/Experience: The successful candidate will have either an associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or ten or more years of related experience and/or training. MUST have a strong working knowledge of the related trades (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC). Preference will be given to applicants who have both 10+ years of experience and a degree. You must have a valid driver's license in order to be considered for this position. Kendal at Hanover offers a competitive hourly rate plus generous evening/night/weekend shift differentials.
