Assumes authority and responsibilities during Food Service Director and Manager absence. Full Time Exempt/Non-union Monday-Friday, Mid-shift, weekends based on operational needs Essential Duties & Responsibilities ▪ Supervise food and nutrition team and assist with training, mentoring, scheduling, and performance evaluations ▪ Oversee tray line operations, dining room service, meal delivery and retail service to ensure timely and high-quality service ▪ Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, infection control practices, and facility policies ▪ Monitor food, beverage, and equipment temperatures and address any variances promptly ▪ Assist with inventory management, supply ordering, audits, and departmental documentation ▪ Ensure proper food storage, quality control, and safe equipment operation ▪ Support orientation and development of newly hired staff members ▪ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned ▪ Performs all other related duties. What We’re Looking For Required: ▪ Associate's degree required. ▪ One to three years’ supervisory experience in hospital food and nutrition required.
