Job Summary: The Merchandiser is responsible for working in a retail setting, cultivating new and engaging ways to display the company’s (Beer/Seltzer/Liquor) products. Reports directly to the Merchandiser Manger. Duties/Responsibilities: • Visit existing retail accounts to build and merchandise displays in store. • Analyze store layout to make our products more appealing to retail customers. • Develop relationships with key personnel at store level. • Brief retail staff on stock display and rotation to ensure every space is optimized. • Collaborate with Sales team to better service our retailer customers. • On an as needed basis, assist with delivering product. • Become versed in retail selling as time permits. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Highly motivated, self-starter. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent sales and customer service skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Clean driving record and reliable personal transportation. • Willingness to travel to multiple locations every day. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to construct displays and hang signs. • Must be able to load and unload displays with and without hand trucks in various types of weather. • Must be able to frequently handle items weighing 30 plus pounds and occasionally move 160 • Must be able to climb up / down ladders while carrying signs and drill. • Must be able to operate hand held drill.
