RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide support to account managers • Search for and qualify new leads • Recruit, develop and qualify partner carriers • Maintain and update database of carriers and accounts • Communicate requirements with carriers • Assist in entering loads • Match carriers to loads using carrier networks • Assist in and perform sales calls • Negotiate pricing with carriers • Coordinate load dispatch and monitor progress • Set up new accounts • Other duties as assigned Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Junior or senior level college status with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in a team oriented environment, make good decisions, and problem solve. Must possess the ability and desire to learn new programs. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two or more years of sales, customer service, or administrative experience SPECIAL TRAINING: Ability to use Microsoft Office software applications, utilize a Logistics Operations System, CRM Tool & navigate the Windows XP Operating System
