This position involves overseeing nursing staff, coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The RN Charge Nurse is responsible for managing patient flow, addressing any issues that arise during shifts, and serving as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team. Additionally, this role includes mentoring and training new nursing staff, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting best practices in patient care. Minimum Qualifications: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or charge nurse role. Preferred Qualifications: • Certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g., Critical Care, Emergency Nursing). • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems. • Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.
