This includes assessing the family’s overall strengths and needs, while making appropriate community referrals as necessary. • Complete assessments and screenings to aid in working with the families and identifying their strengths/needs. • Complete official case notes/documentation. Position Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child & Family Studies, Human Services, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or closely related field preferred • A valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurable driving record • An ability to work independently and create your own schedule- utilizing flexible working hours and the possibility of working from home at times. • Experience in working with or providing services to children and families *Community/ In home experience a plus.* • Willing to engage in building reflective capacity (e.g., capacity for introspection, communicating awareness of self in relation to others, recognizing the value of supervision, etc.) • An ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills GCBHS incorporates principles of trauma-informed care in all areas of our services, Trauma informed care includes cultural sensitivity and emphasizes a safe and respectful environment for all clients and staff.
