Credential Requirements for Mate are:
• Merchant Mariner License Mate 200GT or 1600GT (Oceans or Near Coastal)
• Towing Endorsement (Oceans or Near Coastal)
• STCW 95 (Oceans or Near Coastal)
• Radar Observer Unlimited
• FCC Marine Oper Permit
When submitting an application you must include copies of your Merchant Mariner Credential and TWIC card.
