The History Department at Ave Maria University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of History position to start in the 2027-2028 academic year. Preference will be given to: • Candidates with expertise in a subfield of American history. • Candidates who have earned a doctoral degree in History or a closely related field. • Candidates with some teaching experience and a promising research agenda. • Candidates equipped to contribute to the University’s Catholic identity and mission.
