Academic Alliance in Dermatology, in affiliation with Anne Arundel Dermatology, is seeking a full-time, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with prior general dermatology experience to join our team in our Tampa office. Responsibilities • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as biopsies and lab work. • Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic skin disorders and conditions. Prescribing medications and other treatments when needed. • Managing patients' overall care. • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care our patients deserve. • Review all new client intake forms, and document client treatments and plans of care. • Build patient partnerships by appropriately matching patient needs to the various services and products offered and clearly educating the patient on how they will receive the most benefit. • Attend/conduct in-house training programs. Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant • Committed to delivering efficient, high-quality care in a team-based environment • Interest in building long-term patient relationships and contributing to practice growth Licensure/Certifications/Education • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program • Current Board Certification as NP or PA • Active and unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain) • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
