Our Company Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation Overview Registered Dietician | PRN Take Your Clinical Nutrition Expertise Beyond the Facility Ready to take the clinical skills you’ve built in a hospital or facility setting and use them in a completely different way? As a Clinical Registered Dietitian with Rehab Without Walls’ Home & Community Program, you’ll bring your clinical nutrition expertise directly into the lives of individuals recovering from brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other complex medical and neurological conditions. Instead of seeing patients only within the walls of a facility, you’ll work with them in their homes and communities — helping turn clinical recommendations into practical, sustainable changes that work in real life. Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for an experienced Registered Dietitian who brings a strong clinical foundation from a facility-based setting, such as a hospital, inpatient rehabilitation program, skilled nursing facility, or similar clinical environment. You may be a great fit if you: • Have previous clinical dietitian experience in a hospital, inpatient, rehabilitation, or other facility-based setting • Are comfortable supporting individuals with complex medical and nutritional needs • Enjoy developing individualized nutrition plans based on clinical needs, lifestyle, and functional goals • Want more autonomy and flexibility without giving up interdisciplinary collaboration • Love the idea of taking your clinical expertise beyond the facility and seeing how it translates into a patient’s everyday life Why You’ll Love This Role • Flexible scheduling — build a schedule that works for your life • Hourly pay — not visit-based compensation • Paid drive and travel time + mileage reimbursement • Access to continuing education and professional development • Meaningful, individualized care in natural home and community environments You’ve built the clinical foundation. Now take it beyond the walls of a facility and help patients put it into practice where it matters most — in everyday life. Responsibilities • Provides professional nutritional services in compliance with state practice act(s)/professional standards to meet the individual needs of patients. Ensures adherence with applicable government laws/regulations, company policies/procedures and healthcare standards. Works under general supervision • Interviews patients and assesses/evaluates their nutritional status. Determines the patients' dietary needs and advises the patient's physician/nursing personnel • Confers with the patient's physician to establish dietary treatments/requirements. Prepares and calculates therapeutic diets to meet the specific requirements of patients • Provides guidance/assistance/explanations to patients and family members to help them understand, accept, and follow dietary modifications ordered by the physician. Instructs patients and family members on dietary restrictions and drug/nutrient interactions as appropriate • Observes patients' responses to dietary treatment, notes changes in their condition and advises physicians/Nurse Supervisors and/or Clinical Coordinators. Revises nutritional plan as appropriate based on patients' condition and physician’s orders • Ensures the confidentiality of patients' files and documentation • Maintains/enhances clinical practice skills by attending, participating in/conducting staff development/ continuing education programs. • Participates in quality assessment and improvement activities as assigned. Communicates information that enables data collection/root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement • Maintains the highest standards of professional conduct in relation to information that is confidential in nature. Shares information only when recipient's right to access is clearly established and sharing of such information is in the best interest of the patient • Adheres to and participates in Company’s mandatory Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act privacy program/practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs/practices • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Degree in Nutrition required, or the equivalent • Current Registered Dietician licensure/certification in the state(s) of practice required by individual states(s) • Minimum of six months related experience generally required About our Line of Business Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
