The patient population consists of long-term care, short-term rehab to home, Personal Care, and Outpatient/Independent Living. Symbria also partners with a home health company and as a COTA you will be completing follow up home health visits. This role qualifies for a 3K Sign On Bonus! This is Full Time position of 40 hours per week & does require one (1) Sunday per month weekend rotation. Responsibilities As a Full Time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), you will work closely with the Occupational Therapist to establish appropriate goals and creatively execute the treatment plans. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be required to maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation. More importantly, you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve. Qualifications • Be a graduate of an accredited school for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. • Hold a valid or pending (for newer graduates) state license. • Available M-F (5 days per week) plus 1 Sunday per month for rotation (will get another day off during week when turn for rotation) • It’s great to have had acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required! • Experience using Nethealth is a plus!
