Job Title: Production Operator Department: Production Location: Wilmer, Texas Production Operator Overview | A Shift: Production Operator will be responsible for driving and executing the day-to-day work of the production line while ensuring that quality and safety standards are met. Production Operator I continuously monitor the performance and efficiency of production equipment and communicate with the Line Leader about any line issues. 12 hour shifts 4-3 / 3-4 On 4 Sunday - Wednesday, Off 3 Thursday -Saturday On 3 Sunday - Tuesday, Off 4 Wednesday - Saturday Production Operator Responsibilities: • Communicate production information to the Line Leader and fellow Operators • Performs all duties in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner as instructed by the Line Leader • Verifies that the correct material is being consumed at the production line according to the Build of Materials • Identify and record acceptable and defective products • Assembles, inspects, and cleans solar modules per work instructions • Operate and conduct continuous monitoring of automated machinery • Perform continuity testing using a meter • Connect cables and wires to complete assemblies and installations • Perform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions to ensure product quality • Clean machines, tools, and equipment • Other duties or tasks as assigned by leadership.
