Responsibilities We are currently looking for Senior Project Managers with large commercial project experience. We are seeking a highly experienced Life Science construction leader who can both execute complex life sciences projects and serve as a trusted partner in winning new work. This individual will play a critical role in delivering sophisticated, large-scale cGMP environments while helping to expand and deepen client relationships across the region. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across the full lifecycle of cGMP projects from early concept and design through construction, commissioning, qualification, and validation, and understands how to deliver projects system-by-system. Just as important, they are a strong communicator and relationship builders, capable of leading pursuits, presenting to clients, and partnering with internal teams to secure new opportunities. Qualifications • 5+ years of verifiable experience on multiple cGMP projects, with experience throughout the entire cGMP project lifecycle (concept, design, construction, CX, IQ/OQ, Validation). Preferably at least one cGMP project is over $25M in volume, and one was successfully validated by the FDA for commercial use. Note – volume is less important than complexity. • 10+ years (Aggregate) of construction experience • Worked in cleanrooms and understand protocol (including gowning & cGMP documentation) • Learned to build on a system-by-system basis, not just building spatially • Experience in managing a client to build an account • Successfully led pursuits • Demonstrated the ability to present and have been successful in project interviews • A strong contact list that can bring in work and other cGMP personnel to Shawmut • A track record of leading teams and growing people. • Experience in being both a doer and a checker. • Experience in the entire project lifecycle (pursuit, precon, construction, closeout), including project financial management • Ability to schedule with MS Project or P6 • The ability to get to project locations that could be in the 495 belt, 128 belt, Worcester, or potentially Watertown/Cambridge EEO Information Shawmut prohibits discrimination against any staff member or applicant on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, religion, national origin, marital status, veteran status, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, genetic information, disability, creed, citizenship status, or any other legally protected characteristic. Salary Range Information Boston Base Salary Range: $145,000 – $210,000 The range stated is specific to New England Placement. The range listed depends on many factors, including, but not limited to, years of experience, project size capability (for Construction & Field roles), and internal company equity.
