Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with blueprints. • Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications. • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines and CNC programs as they arise. • Properly and safely loads and unloads castings and raw materials in and out of machine using a lifting device such as an overhead hoist or by hand depending on part size and weight. • Responsible for meeting standard production timeframes established for setup and cycle times. • Responsible for machine offsets and tool changes. • Performs some follow-up operations, such as deburring, polishing, grinding and prepping the part for shipping. This may include sending the part through the wash tank. • Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. • Occasional use of manual or electric pallet jack. • Documents QA inspections. • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
