Maintenance Technician Job Details: • Hours – Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm • Pay Range – $25 - $27 / hour • Location – 1015 Essex St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414 - University Village Apartments Benefits: • 401(k) Match • Healthcare Benefits • Paid Vacation and Sick Time • Paid Holidays & Floating Holidays • DailyPay Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: • Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed. • Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently. • Report any problems/deficiencies. • Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues. • Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns. • Maintain the grounds; trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc. • Test the resident security systems as required. • Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc. • Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed. Maintenance Technician Qualifications: • Minimum two years' experience in maintenance, preferably residential property management. • Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & windows. This position is required to participate in an on-call rotation, 3-4 weeks off-call and 1 week on-call. Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm 40 hours per week
