Overview Touro's Lander College of Men's is hiring adjunct faculty. Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department. Responsibilities • Prepares and delivers lectures to undergraduate students • Prepare course materials including: syllabi, exams, homework assignments, and handouts • Creating a classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning • Preparing students for assessments and providing helpful performance feedback • Maintains regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students checking college emails regularly • Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field and integrating new knowledge into curriculum Qualifications Education/ Experience • A Master’s or PhD. in the relevant academic field • Previous college level teaching experience *Excluding adjuncts working in the athletic department Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities • Demonstrated ability and desire to teach • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills • Expert knowledge of field • Ability to make decisions and solve problems • Performs administrative activities Maximum Salary USD $4,080.00/Course Minimum Salary USD $3,600.00/Course
