Overview We are seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to lead and optimize our HVAC operations throughout the Greater Elkhart area and surrounding communities. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, improving operational efficiency, driving accountability, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. While residential HVAC experience is preferred, we are open to leaders from home services and other field-based industries who have a proven track record of leading teams, improving operational performance, managing field operations, and developing strong team cultures. What You'll Do: • Provide overall leadership for the HVAC service, maintenance, and installation operations teams • Lead, coach, and develop field managers, technicians, and support staff to drive performance and accountability • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, workforce utilization, and resource allocation • Monitor and improve key operational metrics, including revenue, profitability, productivity, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement • Partner closely with sales, dispatch, customer service, and administrative teams to ensure seamless execution across the business • Conduct regular field visits, ride-alongs, and operational reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and support employee development • Drive consistency in processes, service delivery, quality standards, and customer experience • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention initiatives to build a best-in-class team • Lead efforts to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and overall business performance • Manage customer escalations and ensure issues are resolved professionally and effectively • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational best practices • Collaborate with market leadership to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives What We're Looking For: • 5+ years of leadership experience managing operations, field service teams, or multi-functional business units • Demonstrated success leading teams in a growth-oriented, service-driven environment • Strong operational leadership skills with the ability to improve performance, processes, and accountability • Experience managing KPIs, budgets, workforce planning, and operational performance metrics • Proven ability to coach and develop leaders and frontline employees • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and employee engagement • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications • Residential HVAC experience • Experience leading service, installation, and sales teams • Prior responsibility for P&L performance, budgeting, or operational financial management • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service management platforms • Track record of improving operational efficiency while driving profitable growth • Experience building and scaling high-performing teams Compensation & Benefits • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus opportunity • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with company match • Paid time off and paid holidays • Leadership development and advancement opportunities • Opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing organization Why Join Us?
