As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed credentials. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:45 AM - 06:00 PMTue05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to facility personnel, visitors, and authorized individuals while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities. • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and policy violations. • Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken. • Monitor access points, verify credentials, screen authorized entries as directed, and report suspicious activity or unauthorized access attempts. • Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal procedures, and site-specific policies. Minimum Requirements: • Possess a valid armed guard card or license. • Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Participate in industry-specific security training programs. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
