Job Description • Escort patients to exam rooms • Assist physicians with exams and procedures, administer medications, and perform tests. • Assist patients with questions about medications and wound care. • File charts; ensure all related reports, labs, and information are available in patients' medical records before their appointment • Take telephone messages; provide feedback and answer patient/physician/pharmacy calls • Process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians • Clean and restock examination rooms • Sterilize instruments Qualifications • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette • Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow • Excellent computer skills Job Type: • Full-time: Monday-Friday • Pay range $20-24/hr Experience: • 1+ year(s) of Medical Assistant experience (Required) • Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulation (Required) • EMR experience (Required) • Dermatology experience (Preferred) • Front desk experience (Preferred) Education: • High school diploma or equivalent (required) • Bachelor's degree (preferred) Certifications/Licenses: • Medical Assisting Certification (Preferred) Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
