Responsibilities include: • Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility • Answering call lights and responding promptly to resident needs • Monitoring and reporting changes in resident conditions • Assisting with meals, hydration, and dining services • Recording care provided and resident observations • Helping create a warm, homelike environment • Encouraging resident participation in activities and daily routines • Working as part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional care What We're Looking For • Current Connecticut CNA certification and active registry status • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused attitude • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to document care using a computer • Previous long-term care or senior living experience is preferred but not required Our CARES Culture At Pomperaug Woods, we believe every resident deserves personalized care delivered with compassion and respect.
