This is a consultative sales + interior design role where you will create custom storage solutions and deliver a premium customer experience from concept to installation. Key Responsibilities As a California Closets Design Consultant, you will: • Offer a luxury experience through product expertise and elevated service • Provide in-home design consultations and space planning • Design custom solutions using proprietary CAD software • Work with interior designers, decorators, and builders • Manage multiple client projects with strong attention to detail • Travel daily to appointments in Washtenaw, Livingston, Oakland, and Wayne Counties Qualifications Preferred Skills • Experience in sales, interior design, home improvement, home organization professional, or related field • Strong consultative sales and closing skills • Ability to build rapport and develop relationships quickly • Highly organized with excellent time management • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects Requirements • Strong communication and presentation skills • Tech savvy – ability to learn proprietary CAD design software • Laptop required • Must be able to travel frequently to Washtenaw, Livingston, Oakland, and Wayne Counties • Valid driver’s license • Full-time availability, includes some evenings and weekends Compensation • Paid training • Uncapped commission structure • On-target earnings: $85,000–$120,000+ • Pre-set, qualified appointments provided Work Environment • Field-based, in-home sales role • Combination of client visits, remote design work, and showroom collaboration Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Vision insurance • Paid time off Learn more about our Michigan team here.
